Hospitals and physicians are busy. While they are typically well-versed in post-acute care, they don’t always have the time or resources to stay up-to-date on the most recent Medicare evaluations and certifications.

The Association of Skilled Nursing Providers works with hospitals and physicians to ensure that they are aware of the current post-acute care environment and which nursing homes and short-term rehab facilities they should (and shouldn’t recommend).

These evaluations, independently reviewed by Medicare, are the basis for ASNP’s review materials that reach hospitals and physicians. We work hard to make sure that five-star care is recommended by physicians and case managers, so patients can have the best possible experience and outcomes.
